The Doctor Is In

Dr. Quels…holding steady in that holistic game

A link showed up in the ASIS inbox over the weekend and, frankly, theres no real way to introduce this other than to just throw it out there for consumption and ridicule.  Behold the Multiplicity Holistic Therapy Center and its seemingly over-educated proprietor, Dr. Roquel Williams (AKA Dr. Quels…and yes, she speaks Spanish).   The good “doctor” specializes in some sort of psychological and spiritual evaluation that would make even the most devout Scientologist a little uneasy (good news, she’s also fully qualified to have you committed to a mental institution).  The most intriguing aspect of the whole crazy train is Dr. Quels bio and credentials.  Indulge me as I run through them (and add comments full of snark in red).

Dr. Roquel A. Williams is a prophet and was born in Shreveport, LA.  I just figured those Wise Men were in town for the Charlie Daniels concert.  She graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 1991.  Where all prophets graduate from.  From there, she continued to further her education while working full-time.  She currently resides in Shreveport, LA. in Caddo Parish.  She is a 5th degree black belt Martial Artist. So basically she’s David Caradine, except for that hanging dead in a closet from autoerotic asphyxiation stuff.

She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  Seriously, what is it with black fraternities and sororities…you graduated already (maybe), let it go.  As a devout practicing Catholic, she is a member of St. John Berchman’s Cathedral Parish, and the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary.  Also known by its street name of The Holy Church of Whats Happenin’ Now.  Dr. Williams attends mass at the convent located inside of Christus Schumpert Sutton’s Children’s Hospital. Im sure the sick kids are glad to see her.  She has worked to bridge the gap of misunderstanding between the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church, the Masonry and the Order of Eastern Stars.  Wasn’t that the plot in the DaVinci Code? She works with Caddo Parish School Board woohoo public school! and is the sole-proprietor of two businesses and likely the sole customer, Multiplicity Holistic Therapy and L&J Williams and Associates.  She has political, familial, and business ties in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, New York, and California.  So essentially, she knows or has heard of people who live in those states.  Her vocational certifications include Cosmetology, Small Engine Repair, Barbering, Special Education Teacher’s Aide, and Medical Billing and Coding.  A true Renaissance woman. After completing her first bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Dr. Williams had aspirations of joining a convent, but was unable to fulfill this desire due to unspeakable acts committed against her.  Unspeakable acts will get you every time.  What were they?  Don’t ask.  Dr. Williams’ undergraduate degrees include bachelor’s in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Hospitality, International Business Management, Religious Studies, Communications, Engineering, Agriculture, Criminal Justice, Chemistry, Education and Culinary Arts.  If you are scoring at home, that’s 12 undergraduate degrees.  Conservative estimates would make that possible in a mere 36 years, seems totally doable. Her master’s degrees include Theology, Linguistics, Mass Communications, Social Work, English Literature, History, Health Administration, Education, and Business Administration in Real Estate, Retail Merchandising, Conference and Event Planning, Entertainment, Political Science, and Public Administration.  Add 14 Masters degrees to the scoreboard.   She has a juris doctorate in Law and doctorate of Education.  She is also an astronaut, an experienced time traveler,  and is available to perform magic tricks at little kids’ birthday parties.

ASIS encourages you to get the full Dr. Quels experience over at her website…and go ahead and make an appointment while you are over there.

Telltale signs of incarceration. Also majored gang bangin’, prison rape and cutlery (shiv making).

  2. Alan Martin says:

Wow. That is all I can say. I just spent the last 20 minutes looking through her websites(she has a law firm too apparently. Most of the verbiage on the site doesn’t even make sense. Seems to just be a lot of big words that are strung together into a sentence designed to make someone of low intelligence think that she is legit/smart. I would love for someone to actually start calling all of those colleges and universities and verify those degrees. There is no way that those are legit…

Anyways, great article guys! Big fan of the site.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

In response to all things said behind my back, I would love to speak directly to you if you would like to debate. In addition; you can always verify with Letourneau University. Don’t call, just walk right into the registrar’s office. They would love to have you inquire rather than insult me. Now, what would you like to do besides hate?

Just happens that while you were hating and sinning, I was studying to show myself approved unto God.

      • Alan Martin says:

I can’t tell you how entertaining it was for me to read all of your responses to the comments on this post. I’m just curious, why do you so closely relate intelligence to having a degree? I know plenty of people who have a degree who are total dumb asses. Also, let’s be real — it is not possible for you to have the number of degrees that you say you have. If you truly believe that you do, then you are nuttier than a fruitcake. L-O-L

P.S. I am a member of Mensa so don’t say that you are smarter than me. It just isn’t the case.

  3. Super_Bre says:

and she’s planning on moving into the surgical field… this is just amazing. it’ll be a one stop shop for all of your health and mental needs, and she can coordinate your wedding (or funeral) at the same time!

Oh, and did anyone notice that she has “public patient information”?? unless you specifically request for it to be private?

    • Denise says:

“and she’s planning on moving into the surgical field”
I can see her there with her knife saying, “I’m gonna CUT you!”

      • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

Yes, eventually I would like to open a hospital; maybe 30 years for it does require a lot of planning.

In response to all things said behind my back, I would love to speak directly to you if you would like to debate. In addition; you can always verify with Letourneau University. Don’t call, just walk right into the registrar’s office. They would love to have you inquire rather than insult me. Now, what would you like to do besides hate?

    • Denise says:

You need to see her. According to her website:
“As a result of participation in our services, our patients realize lifts in morale, reductions in stress levels, better temperaments, and increases in all esteems.”

    • iy says:

you give her that credit—DUMMY–Are u saying ppl not smart—-You must have got fooled

      • Bre Garcia says:

Yes, we’ve ALL been fooled into thinking your daughter is that brilliant. absolutely. We’ve also begun taking up a fund so that we can all visit her and receive the best medical / mental/ surgical / holistic care money can provide. Maybe if you believed in her as much as her loyal clients did, she would have been an even better doctor.

  4. Z-Skrilla says:

    Haters gon’ hate.

  5. Denise says:

What kind of classes do you have to take to get a Master’s in “Entertainment”?

  6. Bobmac says:

I applaud her for her undergraduate degree in Hospitality. There is no way that I could’ve achieved that, you stupid asshats.

  7. Skeptic says:

As an alumnus of a coupld of those schools, I’m excited. Tech isn’t aware they can grant MDs — in fact they don’t even know where their medical school is located. And LSU seems to have the only Ph.D. in law in the United States. Don’t know about the others, but she needs to contact Guiness for the record for undergraduate degrees. All of that and small engine repair, too.

    • Laughing HARD says:

Don’t forget the MD from LaTech in “Chiropracty”

      • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

AND did you pass the ILEAP or some other standardized comprehension test? I develop my own websites and the best you can do is blog on somebody else’s about someone who is not only smarter than you but looks better than your own mother. Besides, if I only had one degree it is a lot more than what you have accomplished.

      • Machelle says:

        Chiropacty….HAHAHAHAHAH
        HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA
Oh dear sweet baby jesus this is the most hilarious thing i have ever read!!!

  8. Skeptic says:

Make that a couple of those schools.

Wonder if she teaches keyboarding, I’d better sign up.

  9. yeah...ok. says:

I find it unbelievable that an “attorney” doesn’t know how to spell judgment. And that said “attorney” would put up a website with legal terms misspelled and several glaring grammatical errors.

On a side note, I was not aware that Christus Schumpert, Willis Knighton and/or the Steen-Hall Eye Institute was an accredited optometry school…but it appears ladies and gentlemen that she has a MD from one (or all of these institutions, it isn’t very clear) per her CV on her site.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

I am multilingual, I realy doo forgat how to ‘pell tings sumtime. How many languages do you speak?

      • yeah...ok. says:

Yes, I am sure that’s it, Doc. I suppose that your Doctorate in English and Grammar just didn’t kick in while you were using your Masters in Web Design. I’m sorry, my mistake.

  10. Deidre says:

How about her Ph.D’s from Centenary? I’m pretty sure my alma mater would love to know they have that availability now. Especially since she says she’s listed with them as having degrees conferred.

  11. Jim says:

Somebody really needs to take their meds . .

  12. jh says:

  13. wheeler says:

“I find it unbelievable that an “attorney” doesn’t know how to spell judgment. And that said “attorney” would put up a website with legal terms misspelled and several glaring grammatical errors.”

i don’t know; isn’t calvin lester an attorney?

  14. 0ctavi0 says:

Now I am just disapointed, I was all excited to set up an appointment to “cure what ails me” but then I went to the website and found out that aproximately 82% of the adult population is not included in the “accepted patient list”.

“We accept patients who fit in at least one of the following criteria categories:

    Law Enforcement Agents and Officers
Employee of a company with 800 or more employees
Volunteer or Membership organizations who comprise a vital agency function within local government, state, or federal establishment
Ecclesiastical staff of religious infrastructure of prominent community standing
    Professional sports participants
Educators referred by school district or accredited instution of academia
    Politicians
    Convicted White Collar Criminals
Children 0 – 19 (Referred by School Administration)
    Attorneys and Doctors
    Degree Members of Greek Organization
    OES Members 65 and older
    Masons 65 and older”

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

This was a portion of the web development process. Do you know how to do web development or do you just try to get with a group of people that are willing to purposely antagonize someone whom they are jealous of as you are. Really, verification is a matter of you going and finding out. I keep my mind on wisdom. What do you think about besides making derogatory statements about someone who has caused you no offense?

  15. Bre Garcia says:

I wonder if *I* could make an appointment since I work for attorneys….hmmm…and I’m a volunteer of a state organization…

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

No, I excused that stereotypical profile from the list of persons I am willing to accept as clients. Keeps me from being around uneducated people who can think of nothing better to do than insult those who actually sat themselves down, completed all assignments, tasks, and extra duty assignments, and completed their education rather than live a lascivious life.

  16. tannla says:

Wow, I know this chic….. I heard she had lost it, this just confirmed that! SMH!

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

And where do you know me from? Probably just want to be part of a popular crowd. What would you like to hear from me directly? If you have at least a bachelor’s degree, I will give you an interview. Your sources are uneducated just as you are. Want to be popular and just can’t break into the in-crowd except to make a negative statement. YOu speak as though I had robbed a bank, rather than completed EDUCATION. So, what do you do, sell drugs or prostitute?

  17. Matt R. says:

  20. BeingMe says:

She has been reported to the Louisiana State Board of Medical Licensing. The investigator was already looking into her. Her next degree will be a Phd form the University of Angola.

ALSO, Please click on the mapquest link on her site for the map to the “clinic” and see the pic of the rundown ghetto shack which she practices from… and all for only $395….

    • iy says:

why pay u ask me —I am her Mother–there are only ppl like you –I cannot get her help

      • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

Who trying to help Ike? I got a boot for em. lol especially now that all the dummies know it is true. And everyone on this blogg has less than a bachelor’s degree and want to try to make comments. lol

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

You are sorry that you do not understand business progression. Be aware that I will never go to angola but that prison that you have planned for me is waiting for you.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

Check again. You are sorry that you were insulting while someone else was developing their business websites. Yes and there are no bills on my ghetto run down shack. And with more work and effort it can be converted to a nice office space. If being you causes you to say derogatory things about someone you don’t know, you should try using one of your other personalities or try being someone else.

WILLIAMS,ROQUEL ANTOINETTE jailed in 2007 for simple battery according to Caddo Parish public record. Probably should have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, we all know she’s got a P.H.D. in Beating A.S.S.

    • TrueAmerican says:

Also a seizure of a 2003 Chevy Malibu in 2007 for not making payments. Last address known was in the hood. With that many degrees one would think you would at least get up out da hood.

No record of Roquel Williams with the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Member Directory.

Slow day at work for me obviously….but this is truly disturbing.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

And will beat anybody’s A.S.S. who stands in the way of good Christian acts. And I am a prophet. Paul, the apostle, went to jail and John was exiled to Patmos. Was it a set up or did they do what they were charged with; which ultimately comes down to being a good Christian.

  28. TrueAmerican says:

Also had her car seized by a bank in 2007. A 2003 Chevy Malibu. This is ridiculous.

  29. Drive Thru Rascal says:

Called her and set up an appointment! I paid a pretty good penny but I am receiving the best services around.

  30. Matt R. says:

with so many specialties, im sure you will walk out not only legally advised, but also with nice hair, a working lawnmower, nice skin, corrected vision, able to perform your ADLs, and spiritually satisfied.

Maybe your appointment, Rascal, will help her get her 2003 Malibu back because we all deserve to ride in luxury.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

I learned enough things to choose what exactly I would like to do. Most of the things I have a degree in was for persons like you who can’t do it, and I can. Now I just counsel persons like you except in better social standing. Just getting it started and in a few years when you get promoted to fries, I will be moving into my own Office Park. lol

  31. Harry Ballsognya says:

Also, person with same name with DOB 1/29/1973 according to public record in Travis County TX — charged with Theft Check $20 to $500. This was in 2004. Looks like it was dismissed though.

She prolly used her crack lawyerin’ skills to get her outta the charges….

But seriously this woman has to be seriously disturbed. You have to read her wall on her FB page. It is set to public so anyone can read it. She thinks someone pick pocketed her twice on her way from the bank LMAO

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

Single parent didn’t quite budget properly that time. But at least I picked it up immediately and funny, kept going with it. Are you throwing stones without sin or are you hiding your hands. Jealousy. It always happens to the prophet. What I see is someone, YOU, who is trying to impress two persons, one of the persons has a degree and the other is a part of a social organization. They coerced you to say dumb things about me and now you are wishing, again, that you hadn’t.

  32. Bre Garcia says:

what if she has multiple personality disorder? lol.

My co-worker called her yesterday and asked for her bar roll # so she could check her standings with SBA before hiring her, she was told that she shouldn’t be “playin’ on peoples phones” -

    • Bunkie Perkins says:

      She’s right, you totally shouldn’t

      • Bre Garcia says:

agreed. i suppose that rendition of LSU’s fight song a la key pad *was* enough to make her reminiscent of her alma matter and thus upset her… I will tell my co-worker to be more respectful in the future.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

You are a liar. No one asked me for such information. The only thing you all have done is play on my phone and none of you are intelligent enough to hold a 5 minute conversation with anyone who has at least a bachelor’s degree. Sounds like you are stalking. Who are you. You know me yet I do not know you. ANd you call me crazy…lol

      • Super_Bre says:

oh yes, it was asked for, on a couple of occasions, only to be met with a dial tome after you hung up on us or being told that we were playing on your phone. In all actuality, we were simply trying to add a little credibility to this crazy scheme you’ve got going on.

Good luck to you in the looney bin lady. I hear the serve cheetos for breakfast.

      • karkathy says:

wow, elitist much? though that should have been evident from the 20+ degrees you claim to have obtained.

  33. Matt R says:

Dissociative Identity Disorder, there is no multiple personality disorder….

And she wants your Social Security number to make an appointment. I trust her with mine

    • Bre Garcia says:

Oops! Yes, that is obviously what i meant. maybe she would let me borrow one of her degrees so that I could understand the medical jargon?

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

You can use the last four of your SSN. Trust me, any of the arrests made by the police through which I was incarcerated for any reason will let you know I am under extreme scrutiny. If I poot they are looking for me. If I poot and it is wet then they are coming for me. I would never jeopardize my hard work. It was hard and I completed my requirements under great stress. I am not concerned with your insults and if you like your mother better than you like me then blog about her from now on.

  34. Bunkie Perkins says:

OK, ASIS peeps, if you havent been to her Facebook page, you are missing out http://www.facebook.com/drroquelawilliams

Is this considered impersonating an officer of the law? She states (somewhere in the craziness) that she is authorized to make arrests for the sheriff. Oh, and she at least wants to seem heavily armed. Look at the crazy on her FB from Sunday:

Roquel Williams Of course I celebrate a personal day every month of every year with the exception of the month of February except for leap year. As the personal day of August 29, 2010 is coming up, here is my wish list…

Roquel Williams Before giving wish list information, I would like to note that I am missing a navy blue tactical reinforced dress/gun Leather lined belt. For that, I have decided to incarcerate 3 extra criminals this week.

OMG! My poor, crazy, aunt is off her meds and missing again.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

And what is your identity? No one knows you or who you are. Easy to hide when we are commiting wrong against a stranger.

  39. JoeBlow says:

According to her own web site, she had to file for public aide. Even with 457 degrees, she can’t pay her bills. She now has a lawsuit against that agency for not calling her doctor and for throwing their weight around. Now what law did they violate? She also alleges that the driver with Sportran conspires to make her late. He does this by leaving 5 minutes early, resulting in her missing the bus.

    • Dr. Roquel Williams says:

Conspiracy, just as you and your group of friends conspired to defame my character through your blogs. Sad for you. If you are able to pay your bills in this economy, either your parents are helping you or you are engaging in illegal activity. I would say both for you. My degrees were expensive, now I must build back up to that economic standard. I come from being a ward of the state and having to always deal with persons such as yourself. You have all the social depictions of a stalker and rapist. I am sure you would be embarrassed to stand before me for full prognosis. What do you have a degree in and what is your monthly budget.

      • JoeBlow says:

Dr. Quells, If I might make a suggestion. Just try showing up for the bus 5 minutes earlier. You’ll thwart that evil conspirecy and make it to your destination early. I can just imagine how upset he will be when your smiling face is waiting for him at the bus stop.

  40. Matt says:

  45. dessert_goddess says:

oh the good doctor is so intelligent that she wasted all of her valuable time replying to everyone’s comments…dumbass! it’s people like you that turn people off to christianity. in one statement you’re a prophet and the next you are talking about someone’s mother. you are a disgusting, pitiful, pathetic person. you need help! you have poor self-esteem, horrible grammar and spelling skills, and you lack basic skills in dealing with people. the difference between most of us and you is that we have nothing to prove to you! you appear to need to feel a sense of validation from total strangers. honestly, you’re quite entertaining. you should take comfort in knowing that.

This display of ludicrosity has been rather entertaining and, shall I say, stupendously arousing…ROFLMBO sounds like her. This posting made my day. The difference a few years makes. Wow…a far cry from lucid. I hope the best for her. Perhaps some mental help would be in order.

  52. johnny says:

just for the record i have known this female since i was to young to remember meeting her in eden garden subdivision in shreveport louisiana. the truth is she is a very intelligent and dynamic individual. i say this although we are no longer close. she has been through a very harsh set of circumstances and although i could go into extensive detail it wouldnt be prudent nor righteous to do so. i only impart the information that i have because in spite of her oft times erradic behavior it would only be fair to say in her defense that she is the holder of several degrees. as for comments of her prophetic ability i will refrain from commenting on due to the fact that the ALMIGHTY YAH WHO MOST PEOPLE REFER TO AS GOD WILL MAKE THE TRUTH OR ERR OF THAT STATEMENT PLAIN TO ALL. it is my humble suggestion that we all pray for her and let the MIGHTY ONE OF ISRAEL DO THE REST. SHALOM

  53. Kelligirl1226 says:

Aww, bless her little heart! And here I thought that grown-ups were too old to play make-believe…

Before you even ask, I have two degrees–both from LSUS, BA and MS.

  54. Concerned says:

I have also had the privilege of knowing this young lady for more than 25 years. She is a very intelligent person (as you can see from all of the info that she has made up on her web sites) who actually does hold at least two college degrees. She was a single mother who worked full-time and finished college. She was once a brilliant writer, web page designer, and poet who once had a non-profit organization for literacy in her community where she was featured in the Shreveport Times. She has experienced some traumatic events over the past few years that have caused her current mental state (mental break down). Roquel has a family that loves and cares about her but refuses any help from them. So while you all are taking the time to google her information, ridicule her about a repossessed vehicle, a $20 hot check, or any thing else you can find to humiliate her, take the time and pray for her. Pray that she gets the help that she needs so she can get her life back on track.

  55. ShreveportPirate says:

is this a joke or what, i have seen to much, who in the heck gonna get all those degrees, what are you van wilder in real life or something. i have heard of 2 but why get 12? u just need one and then u can get the job done. if thats not good enough then a masters but 12 degrees dont equal a masters or a phd or whatever, it equals lies and being crazy. i lived in shreveport for 4 years and never heard this. now i see why, glad i was thru with finals cause this was some useless info. if u have all those degress why ride a bus, oh wait bet ur trying to be friendly to the earth.

I realize that this woman may have serious mental issues. It certainly sounds that way. While some of what she’s saying may be true, which I doubt, a lot of it is very sketchy. That’s an awful lot of degrees to have amassed in such a short time. Most of them are in totally unrelated areas. To get a bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph. D. in just one field usually takes over a decade. I have a bachelor’s and a master’s, and that took me five – and for one field! The Ph.D. takes most people about eight years – for one degree. We’re talking about decades, then, to earn the dozens she’s claimed. Unless she is much older than her pictures indicate, I seriously doubt her claims.

She says that she has a master’s in English literature, yet there is no bachelor’s work in a related field (maybe communications, but that’s so vague – most schools have different types of communication). Most people working for a master’s degree in English have a bachelor’s in English. I knew one who had a journalism B.A., and another who had a B.A. in general studies. The rest of us all had B.A.s in English. It’s not likely that someone with little to no background in English would go on to get a master’s in it. It would be like me going on to get a master’s in organic chemistry. It just doesn’t happen that way in the vast majority of cases, and it would have to happen in her case multiple times in order for her story to be true.

In the first response, she claims that we can verify her story by contacting the universities she attended. No, we cannot. There’s a little thing called the FERPA, and as a lawyer, she should be aware of it. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act prevents anyone but the student (and guardian, if the student is under 18) from obtaining information from schools about grades or even personal information. If you show up at the registrar’s office asking “hey, did so-and-so go to school here?” they will not tell you. Doing so would be a violation of the Act. As a teacher, I have to follow the FERPA. I am not allowed to give out information about my students except to the student and verifiable guardians and relevant school personnel.
