Its never wise to re-enact a Robert DeNiro/Sharon Stone scene from Casino in the middle of the Horseshoe lobby…especially when you are the Assistant DA.
Sentell was arrested at Horseshoe casino in Bossier City this past weekend on charges of domestic battery on his wife and public intimidation.
The actions that led to Sentell’s arrest for battery were recorded on casino security cameras. They show the couple having an apparent argument, her repeatedly trying to walk away and him grabbing her, but no use of heavy force.
Police allege the battery was committed when Sentell, who had been drinking, grabbed his wife by the arm on more than one occasion to keep her from walking away from him, and then to lead her out of the casino.
Security video obtained by KTBS News shows the couple talking in the lobby of the casino complex. The mood changed at one point and Sentell went to get his wife when she walked away. He caught up with her and they talked some more. He appeared to put his arm around her at one point and she pulled away.
The battery, according to police, was when he grabbed her and pushed her into a column and then grabbed her by the arm again as they head toward the exit.
And when being detained, it’s always a good idea to threaten your arresting officers with their jobs.
Police officers said Sentell threatened to sue and to affect their jobs by using his political influence. Marvin said Sentell denies threatening their jobs.
