This Week in Bossier

creepy uncle

You know, its all just one big happy family reunion until Uncle Miguel starts leering at your sister

A Bossier City bicycle cop was patrolling the Louisiana Boardwalk parking garage when he spotted a 33-year-old man “kiss(ing) on” a girl whom the officer discovered is related to the man, according to Bossier City police.

Now Miguel Orlega Tepox, of the 600 block of Argyle Street in Shreveport, faces a charge of aggravated incest. He remained Wednesday night in Bossier Maximum Security Facility, where he his bond has been set at $100,000.

Tepox was “engaged in indecent behavior” with the juvenile July 22 in a parked pickup, according to Mark Natale, a Bossier City spokesman. If convicted of aggravated incest, Tepox could face five to 20 years in prison, with or without hard labor, and a fine of up to $50,000.

And now for a little legal lesson for the next time you are roaming the Boardwalk with incestuous intentions…lets all pay attention.

The law says the charge of aggravated incest applies if the victim is younger than age 18 and is related as one of the following, including step or adoptive: child, grandchild of any degree, brother, sister, half-brother, half-sister, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece. The law covers the involvement of any such individual in any prohibited sexual activity from lewd touching to sexual intercourse.

Ok, duly noted.
